We ship most of our orders Priority Mail in The US Postal Service. We love it.
Most orders are for small items and the mail is the least costly way. And it is mostly quick.
Once we see what is being shipped, charges are often less than we show in the chart below; Much of what we ship can fit in Priority Mail flat rate or regional rate USPS packaging and will not require the charges in this chart.
Almost all mail shipments arrive within just a few days. We once shipped an order from upstate New York on Saturday and the guy got it in Florida on Monday morning! Still we've seen it take two weeks to go just a hundred miles.
BUT if you agree to use the mail you really can't care when you get your order.
Most people are good natured and pretty mellow about it figuring, "Hey, it's the mail." It is a terrific value for the cost but you should not be using the mail for anything that is time sensitive if it will be a problem when it is not there when you thought it would be. Remember, it's the mail.
Priority mail does have a tracking number but that only shows it is "in transit". It won't show when you will get it.
There are truly rare occasions when a mail shipment just is not showing up. All you can do is wait. In rare situations it can take weeks. But it will show up eventually if you gave us a good postal address. Some people do not give us good addresses.
That Is The Story About The Mail
If your need is time sensitive tell us you want UPS. It may cost more than the chart. We'll quote you a cost. UPS is far more predictable and consistent in its schedule.
THERE IS A DRASTIC NEW SURCHARGE FROM THE US POSTAL SERVICE:
Parcels that exceed 22" but not greater than 30" have a $4.00 surcharge
Parcels that exceed 30" have a $15.00 surcharge
This surcharge mostly effects stick flags, grave markers, flag kits and poles
